A lively area with bars and terraces, popular with locals.

Practical info about Seville

Seville’s centre is best explored on foot. The Alcázar and the cathedral are in high demand: book tickets in advance.

Summers are very hot: prefer spring or autumn, or plan visits early in the morning and in the evening. Air-conditioned accommodation is strongly recommended in summer.

What to see in Seville

  • The Alcázar, a royal palace with Moorish gardens (booking required);
