Travel eSIM in Canada: connected from touchdown
In Canada, you are outside the European Union: EU "roam like at home" rules don’t apply, and using your usual plan can be expensive. A travel eSIM is set up at home before you leave and works as soon as you land.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an eSIM in Canada?
It isn’t compulsory, but it’s often the simplest option: outside the European Union, roaming on your usual plan can be expensive. Compare with your provider’s add-ons.
When should I install the eSIM?
At home, over Wi-Fi, a few days before leaving. You then switch it on when you land, simply by changing the line used for data.
Can I keep my number?
Yes: the eSIM is added alongside your usual SIM, which stays active for calls and texts. Just turn off its mobile data to avoid charges.
