Contents
In short: from Charles de Gaulle (Roissy), the RER B takes you to central Paris; from Orly, it’s metro line 14, with no change. Beauvais is linked to Paris by a shuttle bus. With luggage, children or a late arrival, a pre-booked transfer avoids any bad surprises.
From Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
- The RER B: the direct option to the centre, stopping at Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame and Denfert-Rochereau. Handy if you are staying near one of these stations.
- Buses: buses also link the airport with Paris; check which lines are running on the Île-de-France Mobilités website.
- Taxis: only take one from the official taxi rank outside the terminal, never from someone approaching you in the arrivals hall. Trips to Paris are charged at a flat rate, depending on the bank of the Seine you are going to.
- Pre-booked transfer: a driver waits for you on arrival with your name and drops you at the door of your accommodation.
From Orly (ORY)
- Metro line 14: it links the airport directly with central Paris (Gare de Lyon, Châtelet, Saint-Lazare), with no change. The simplest option.
- Tram T7: it connects with metro line 7 at Villejuif, for southern Paris.
- Taxis and pre-booked transfers, as at CDG: official rank only, flat rate to Paris.
From Beauvais (BVA)
Beauvais airport, used by several low-cost airlines, is far from Paris. A shuttle bus links the airport with Porte Maillot, in western Paris, with departures timed to the flights. The journey is long: allow extra time for an appointment or a connection.

| Late-night or very early arrival | Pre-booked transfer or taxi |
| Group of several people | Pre-booked transfer (often easier than several taxis) |
Our tips
- Check the right ticket before you go: Île-de-France tickets changed recently, and airport journeys have their own rules.
- Keep your ticket until you exit: you need it at the gates.
- Beware of fake taxis: official rank or a driver booked in advance only.
- During busy holiday periods, allow extra time: trains and roads are crowded.
